Granorte develops and produces sustainable, environmentally responsible claddings that contribute to the conservation and protection of forests. RECOLOR cork flooring is passionately produced from natural cork and inspired by nature. Cork harvesting, done every nine years without any trees being cut, is a responsible practice, with minimal impact on the environment, conserving the biodiversity and integrity of the ecosystems. RECOLOR cork floating floors contain over 80% natural raw materials (cork and wood) and 35% recycled content. They do not contain PVC, plasticizers or other substances harmful to health or the environment. FSC® certified products are available upon request.

Features

The use of a multilayer structure that combines technology with the unique characteristics of cork ensures that RECOLOR floating floors offer a number of unique features. In addition to ensuring high thermal and acoustic insulation, they stand out for their ease of application (uniclic®) and cleaning, extreme resistance to wear, water and stains. They do not absorb dust, cause allergies and are resistant to bacteria and fungi due to the unique Microban® microorganisms inhibitory protection. The perfect combination of sustainability, comfort, hygiene and durability.

Applications 

The range of colors, from neutral to vivid, and their high performance, provide an exceptional basis for creative design in new contrution or renovation. RECOLOR floorings can be used in residential or commercial applications and have a lifetime structural warranty and 15 year residential or 5 year commercial wear warranty.

Sustainability

VITA cork floors are made from natural cork, recycled from the scraps, waste and by-products of the cork stopper industry for wine. Being a highly technological product, it is at the same time one of the most sustainable and environmentally responsible claddings, making a decisive contribution to the conservation, protection and integrity of forests and the biodiversity of ecosystems. VITA floors are FSC® certified and contain no PVC, plasticizers or other substances that are hazardous to health or the environment.

Features

VITA floors combine direct digital printing technology with the durability and comfort of an environmentally friendly cork surface. Beyond innovative technology, aesthetics has always been at the center of its development. The VITA line reproduces unique wood or tile design effects directly on cork for a completely unique look. As with all Granorte cork products, the characteristics of comfort, hygiene and durability are present.

With a fabulous variety of designs, textures and colors, VITA floors offer the perfect solution for creating magnificent styles of interior decoration, from modern to traditional, where the requirements of thermal and acoustic comfort are paramount. Vita floors can be used in residential or heavy duty commercial applications and has a lifetime structural warranty and 20 year residential or 10 year commercial wear warranty.

Since its inception in 1972, Granorte’s business has been recycling cork, adding value to the waste and by-products of the natural cork stopper industry for wine. 3D FORMS wall cladding modules consist of about 95% of natural cork grains, obtained by grinding and granulating this sustainable raw material. The binder is a non-toxic, formaldehyde free polymer described on the FDA list of materials that can be used in contact with food. Contains no PVC, plasticizers or other substances hazardous to health or the environment.

Features

The 3D FORMS modules are 95% natural cork, CNC molded and finished with a water based protector. Being modular, they can combine in various arrangements to create unique three-dimensional patterns that add depth to vertical surfaces, defining the identity of space. Drawing on traditional 50s and 60s tiles and wood panels, 3D FORMS modules project an impressive rhythmic pattern through the wall.

Applications 

Offering a seemingly endless amount of creative possibilities, 3D FORMS gives the designer a unique texture like Wall cladding and the intrinsic acoustic and thermal properties of cork contribute to the acoustic and thermal performance of buildings, improving environmental comfort and reducing energy costs.
