LIKE urinal’s key-concept is saving water. Toward that goal its development turned around the use of water, or rather, the lack thereof. The Urinal does not require a water discharge to operate allowing significant savings in water usage as it is only occasionally used in the cleaning process. This system favours water yearly savings between 80.000 and 120.000 litres per unit.

LIKE urinals possess a sealing membrane in their discharge valve that contains odours as well as a deodorant ring that ensures a pleasant smell. All chemicals in the deodorant ring are environmentally safe. The whole system is simple, practical and functional. The sealing membrane allows for the draining of liquids with no reflux.

Its quick and easy installation makes it ideal for public and private spaces.

Sanindusa’s Cold Open system is an elegant and modern design solution to enable savings in water and energy while at the same time benefiting the environment. It is an efficient, money-saving solution that may go unnoticed at first but proves advantageous in the long term as it reflects on the energy and water bills. This mechanism also propitiates significant savings in resources.

In this system the handle can only be rotated on the clockwise direction to a 90o angle. The faucet can only be opened in the central position avoiding the unnecessary use of water-heaters and saving resources. On faucet mixers equipped with the Cold Open cartridge the opening can be set on any point of the handle’s rotation span.
