Cross Laminated Timber (CLT)
Sustainability
TISEM operates in the area of wood construction and sustainability, being qualified advisors of the BREEAM system, Passive House designers and suppliers of solutions with building system in wood panels CLT (representation KLH). The great potential in terms of sustainability is the reduction of energy required either for construction (production of materials and on-site execution) and for the exploitation phase due to the high energy efficiency of the building system. There is also the mitigation of carbon emissions by the fact that wood buildings increase long-term carbon sequestration.
Features
CLT (Cross Laminated Timber) panels manufactured in Austria by KLH Massivholz GmbH consist of cross glued solid wood lamellae from sustainable forests.
Applications
This system allows to perform walls, floors and roofs and accumulating structural, partitioning and cladding functions, being delivered on site in the final dimensions of the project.
