Presently, approximately 50% of water use in a home can be replaced by rainwater, which represents the saving of a resource for life, not just economically, energetically and environmentally. Rainwater can be used as a substitute for drinking water in a variety of operations, such as flushing toilets, floor washing, washing machines, cleaning and garden watering.

Since small settlements predominate in our country, some not yet served by any wastewater treatment system and others served by septic tanks that have been shown to lack the desired efficiency, there is a need for effective treatment solutions.
